  • Henry Veizades

    Henry Veizades, President, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University. Mr. Veizades is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the geothermal industry. Since 1986, he has contributed significantly to over 40% of the world’s installed geothermal projects, spanning across countries such as USA, Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Chile, Japan, Iceland, Turkey, Kenya, Indonesia and New Zealand.

    He has earned an industry-wide reputation for his role as an exceptional Project Director with a keen ability to identify unique design solutions that satisfy specific project needs.

  • Mehul Patel, P.E.

    Mehul Patel, Vice-President, completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Since joining Veizades in 1992, Mr. Patel has played a pivotal role within our team. He has been involved in numerous projects across the globe, showcasing his expertise in the field. Mr. Patel’s exceptional dedication to geothermal initiatives has allowed him to spearhead a wide range of engineering projects.

    From conducting feasibility studies to overseeing detailed design, construction, and commissioning of resource production facilities, he has continuously supported the development of geothermal power plants.

  • Steve Burden, P.E.

    Steve Burden, Senior Consultant, graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He has over 40 years of experience in project management and civil design for geothermal utility projects. Mr. Burden has established development strategies for green field and brown field developments. He has performed the role of project manager for over 300 MW of projects beginning with the Bear Canyon Geothermal Project in the Geysers. His project management expertise includes the development of the Santa Rosa Geysers Recharge Project which is the largest enhanced geothermal system in the world.

  • Christian Gomez, P.E.

    Christian Gomez, Project Manager, holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University. Since joining the team in 2007, Mr. Gomez has displayed a remarkable aptitude for devising innovative design solutions for geothermal resource fields. He has also demonstrated an ability to take on challenging assignments, successfully managing the company’s efforts in implementing binary and flash geothermal energy systems in Turkey.

    His breadth of experience in the design and management of geothermal projects is a valuable asset to our team.

  • Kristi McGinley, P.E.

    Kristi McGinley, Project Manager, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada. With a career in the geothermal industry dating back to 2010, Ms. McGinley has consistently showcased her expertise in various capacities. She has taken charge of critical aspects such as design, construction support, commissioning, and project start-up in the United States, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Turkey.

    Ms. McGinley’s extensive experience and broad geographical scope contribute greatly to our company’s success in delivering exceptional geothermal projects.

  • Brett Peterson

    Brett Peterson, our Design Engineer, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. Since joining Veizades in 2009, Mr. Peterson has provided design support in geothermal gathering system, structural, and civil design construction support, as well as conceptual preliminary design.
