Olkaria I, Unit 6 Geothermal Power Fluid Collection and Injection System, Kenya

Veizades, as subcontractor to H. Young & Co (EA) Ltd. provided detailed design and engineering of the two-phase fluid collection and injection system, including production pipeline from 17 production wells, 10 well pads with brine ponds atmospheric flash tanks/weir box, three separation stations with four separators and a vent station with two insert-style rock mufflers and steam header to plant interface.

Olkaria I

Rantau Dedap Geothermal Project, Sumatra, Indonesia

Veizades was subcontracted by Fuji Electric Corporation of America and provided detailed design of the separation and scrubbing stations for two (49.2) MW geothermal power plants including the four separators, four scrubbers and vent systems. Veizades also provided high-level design of the resource gathering and injection systems (RGS), and engineering review of the EPC’s detailed design of RGS.


Germencik I and Efeler I-VIII, Turkey

The inauguration of Germencik I, the first dual-flash geothermal plant in Turkey, began a series of successful projects that included Efeler I through IV. Veizades played an instrumental role in these initiatives, delivering a wide range of services. Our scope encompassed various aspects, from process design to pipeline, vessel, and vent station design for resource production and injection systems.

Additionally, Veizades provided equipment selection and review, vessel design, and optimization services, ensuring smooth energy conversion. Our commitment to comprehensive project solutions also included commissioning and start-up services, ensuring that each project met performance expectations from the very start.


Kizildere Power Plant Expansion, Turkey

As an integral part of the Power Engineers/Geologica design team, Veizades assumed the role of lead engineer for the design of resource production and injection facilities in the Kizildere expansion project. Our involvement began during the initial stages of the feasibility study and continued throughout the intricate process of detailed design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.

The scope of our work encompassed a range of crucial components, such as high, intermediate, and low-pressure separators, scrubbers, pressure relief systems, and injection pumps, ensuring the project’s success and seamless operation.


Menengai Geothermal Project, Kenya

Located in the Menengai crater near Nakuru, the project encompasses a vast network of production and injection pipelines spanning over seven km. Veizades, operating as a subcontractor to H. Young, played a crucial role in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contract. Our dedicated engineering services comprise the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of the resource production and injection system, ensuring its seamless functionality.
